The WinFast WL100A706 chipset is a high performance IEEE 802.11a/g/b/n/ac dual band controller supporting 5GHz (54Mbps) and 2.4GHz (100Mbps) simultaneously. With a unique TDMA media access control (TDMA MAC) algorithm, it can achieve 2.4GHz peak rate of 2.4 Gbps and 5 GHz rate of 5 Gbps. The chip also supports IEEE 802.11i key management and provides WPA/WPA2 IEEE 802.1x authentication for secure wireless network connection.
The MT7601U is an IEEE 802.11n dual band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) WPAN driver, and connected to a host PC, it can provide WLAN connectivity through an external antenna. The MT7601U utilizes a Qualcomm Atheros AR9331 WLAN chipset and the AR8350 is a single-chip WLAN controller supporting the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n standard.
