The MDC-1200 and MDC-600 Direct Data Transmission Radio System is a manufacturer-independent implementation of Motorola's MDC. MDC-1200 and MDC-600 use a proprietary FM modulation, and are similar to the Motorola Data Communication Group (MDCG) with --determinations off--.MDC-1200 and MDC-600 transmit digital data in bursts on the Motorola FM band. MDC is a balanced 2-wire, half-duplex data protocol. Motorola's Audio Data Series products use Motorola's Data Communications Group protocol, (MDCG). The MDC Series consists of MDC-1000, MDC-1200, and MDC-E50 (Modulation Data Conversion, Encoder/Decoder).
Op-Tips with Motorola Portable Radios offer stock locations for up to six different types of batteries, as well as different types, including help for common battery problems. Keeping track of all the different batteries allowed some manufacturers to make batteries with more life than others that are simply labeled as “battery”. Op-Tips also include expired batteries, dummy batteries, simulation units that simulate real batteries, and a new product called “Parachute” demo batteries. 7211a4ac4a
